The idea behind a capsule wardrobe is to have a curated collection of versatile, timeless pieces that can be mixed and matched to create numerous outfits. For Summer 2024, I've focused on light, breathable fabrics and a palette that reflects elegance.

OUTERWEAR

Jackets and sweaters for summer? yes! These are classic items that you can wear now and style for fall later on. These are my three favorites! I'm a blazer lover so I always have blazers on my capsule wardrobes as they elevate any look!

Opt for lightweight jackets in neutral colors or a versatile denim jacket that can be layered over sundresses or paired with shorts. A cozy, yet breathable, sweater in a soft fabric like cotton or linen is perfect for those cooler summer evenings or unexpected breezy days.

TOPS

When it comes to tops, think basic but stylish. A well-fitted t-shirt in a mix of solid colors and subtle patterns like a striped tee can be the foundation of many outfits. I added a couple of lightweight blouses, a vest, a dressy top, tank in breathable fabrics, such as linen or cotton, for a chic and comfortable look.

BOTTOMS

Versatile bottoms are key to a successful summer capsule wardrobe. A pair of classic denim shorts, a casual skirt, and a pair of tailored shorts can cover a range of occasions. Also, a pair of comfortable, lightweight pants for those days when you want a bit more coverage, so I added white jeans, linen pants, and my favorite light-wash denim.
